For the last couple of months I have been focusing on skin care for not only my clients but for myself. I recently purchased some great Dr. Brandt products including the Anti-Aging Mattifying Lotion that I am totally in love with. Also I decided the cheap foundation from the connivence store (see I never got any nice makeup for myself, all the Chanel is in my kit for my clients) was never the right color, it didn't do anything for my skin and it was it's time to go. I started using a tinted moisturizer I had gotten in a kit a few months back just for summer time and going to the beach. The Oil-free Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Spf 15 to be correct. I absolutely love it, It gives me a great coverage, gives my skin a glow that I was missing with my cheapo-depo foundations. I never liked the whole "dewy" look especially on my oily skin, but the glow this gives me is much different, plus the dr. brandt product is the perfect anti-shine so I don't have to worry about a thing. I will wait a few minutes after I put on the tinted moisturizer, perhaps start on my eye makeup, then powder with a light powder. It is always best after putting on any foundation to let it sit onto your skin for a bit so your skin can start to absorb it insuring it will stay much longer, also it prevents you from taking the foundation off with your sponge/brush when you are powdering.
