I am sad to say there were no "howdy partner's" thrown around while I was in Houston, Texas this past week with my father. I think we may have heard but one texas accent and saw two cowboy hats the entire time. Most folks were from all over the country and moved to Houston because of a lower cost of living, go figure, and I think the people that go around saying "Everything's bigger in Texas" have never been to California. I initially had intended for this post to be mostly food related, but my meals whilst there were really nothing to brag about. All in all we made the trip interesting and fun by being super touristy because really what else could we do, dig for oil? ;) Here are my favorite photos from our trips to the zoo, museums, and NASA- Lyndon B.
