pisa

it was a quick trip to pisa, we planned on staying there for a couple of hours mostly just to see the tower since it was kind of sort of on the way to rome. we found our way out to the (very) leaning tower of pisa (see the photo below, its kind of hilarious) and took our photos. as we were walking back towards the train station it began to drizzle so we tucked our way into a small cafe with an adorable and super hidden dinning area and had some lunch. I had an eggplant parmesan, well I think that must be what it was, it was surprisingly really good despite the look of it (i'm a big presentation person but cooked eggplant really never does look too cute). we really extended our lunch because as we ate it began pouring rain outside, so we stayed until we had to leave for our train leading us to rome.
