Pre-fall 2010.. oh so delightful.
I have noticed a bit of a reoccurrence of 60's and 70's silhouettes through various lines and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised, well by most.

Diane von Furstenberg. This was my favorite from the collection, partially because I'm in love with jumpers and partially because I love the pairing of the hot pink long gloves!
Frankly I do hope jumpers stay, I don't know what it is about them, perhaps it brings you back to childhood onesies and play time. or not.

Missoni... ohh miss. Miss as in fail. I can't quite put my finger on it but continuously as I browsed through this collection *yawn* and that never a good sign! I wasn't digging the mary poppins look, no matter how much I love that Mary Poppins, I felt as though just looking at it I was being suffocated by these knits! The colors were definitley fitting to the 70's era, not quite sure if that was a good thing or not, you can decide.
I feel so sad to say this too because I so loved the layering and the knits in the S/S 10 collection! *humph*

Oh Oscar de la Renta. LOVE the high waist. You make it work with wide legged pants (again back in to the 70's) as well as the shorter-than-cigarette-pants-pants (40's/50's) Oh wont you magically appear in thy closet...

Now thats what I'm talkin' bout! Louis Vuitton, oh you've done it again.. I didn't think it could get any better then afro's and sun burns but this 60's mod has just taken me back. My faves include (1) the over the knee socks (which I want to mention that I have been wearing these since fall '08.. I do have fashion ESP fyi) (2) the fact that I feel like I am in moscow now (3) that last dress and mocca-boots pairing. Sometimes I am a wee jealous of the cleverness of you Marc Jacobs.. (a wee? HAH perhaps an understatement)
Sadly the 'Beauty' looks are not up but a few fun looks to check out:
S/S '10 Louis Vuitton, John Galliano, and Alexander McQueen
(this will blow your mind makeup and hair people!)
