You Do It To Yourself..

I'm going to let you in on a few of my favorite ways to keep hair looking fresh and frizz free over the summer months.

Frizz
First things first, keep up with your hair cuts! The fragile ends that need to be trimmed actually makeup most of the frizz. Once cut, fresh and split end free apply an anti- frizz serum. Fine to normal hair should use a serum, normal to thick hair should use a cream. Be sure not to apply too much product, as the more product and more you fiddle with your hair, the more it will irritate the hair cuticle and create frizz. When applying use a small amount, usually about a dime size and run through your locks. Now depending on your desired style you can let dry naturally, blow it out or bring out the curls.
For curls simply flip your hair over and use a diffuser and let it do the work.

For a blow out use a serum or cream that will protect against heat damage, like Redken heat Glide. This will save those freshly trimmed ends and is a must for any time you are blowing out your mane. If you plan to also use a flat iron or curling iron, use a iron protectant once dry, such as Redken Iron Silk, this will give added shine and smoothness.

When letting dry naturally still use an anti frizz serum/cream that is best for your hair.
If you are looking for that beach wave I just love the Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray! You can use damp or dry and great for all hair types!
In general look out for products with high alcohol content which can lead to drying, brittle, no life hair and we don't ever want that to happen :)
