Never enough time..

American Idol. I was fortunate enough to assist an amazing makeup artist on this television show for the Jamie Foxx & Will.i.am performance promoting the movie RIO. I was in a team of five artists and in a number of hours we made up over 20 dancers in extremely colorful makeup! We achieved that look using a combination of larger than life lashes, MUFE Flash Color Palette, MAC Pro Paint Sticks, and vibrate shadows. Here are a few photos of the day!!

The security guy spelled my name wrong, I know, I just pretend he didn't dot the "i" ;)

Behind the scenes! Look at the awesome costumes!

Before I left Los Angeles I worked with model and friend, Courtney Davies quite a bit on numerous red carpet events she was attending. We decided to set up a shoot before I headed out of town, so at the last minute Scot Woodman drove down and we made it happen! Below are a few photos from the shoot!

We started off with a nice clean 'commercial' look. Prep and primed her skin, light wash of Chanel Pro Lumiére, and a setting powder with a bit of pink cheek color wraps up her flawless bright complexion. For lips I used a touch of the Bobbie Brown Sheer Color Cheek Tint - Sheer Raspberry, remember there is no rules in makeup, mix match it up and use this there and that here.

For the last look we really spiced it up. Added bronzer Soleil Tan De Chanel, lipstick was part of the limited addition Disney Villian's for Mac Cosmetics. For her eyes I played with the liner, brightened with golds and shades of bronze, browns and blacks making her eyes fierce. For her hair I interchanged using a 1inch barrel and an 1/4inch barrel iron giving it variation and texture.
